Our public website is informational. Authenticated Arena features require a verified account when available; individual apps may have separate access rules.

Use of the applications

Clear expectations governing our public digital utilities:

ACCESS Public website browsing is available; Arena community services require SoOSID authentication when launched. App access and any customisation services have separate published conditions.

AS IS Apps are provided "as is", without warranties of availability, uptime, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or permanent ongoing support.

CODE Source code is not published or available for reuse unless explicitly licensed under a separate repository release.

VOLUNTEERS The Society is a decentralized volunteer collective; contributions, feedback, bug fixes, and maintenance are voluntary.

Community agreements and payments

SoOS is a community platform, not a bank, wallet, money transmitter, exchange, escrow service or guarantor. Members independently agree to lawful activities and settle any payments directly by cash, Mobile Money, bank transfer or other authorised providers. SoOS does not receive, hold, transfer or redeem their money or OPC.

Where agreement records are available, the amount, currency, method and payment status are statements supplied by members. A status such as “reported paid” or “acknowledged by both parties” is not independent proof that funds settled. Members remain responsible for their own agreements, delivery, payments and compliance with law.

Members must not post unlawful, fraudulent, coercive, unsafe or exploitative activities. We may moderate content, restrict access, review abuse reports and cooperate with lawful requests. These terms do not remove legal duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Read our Privacy Notice.
